"St. Joe", as we locals say, is also the commercial and residential hub of the local area being situated on St. Joseph Bay between the Cape San Blas and Mexico Beach areas. The town has a state-of-the-art marina, dive shop and boat repair facility as well as grocery and fishing supplies all located within 1/2 mile.
There a two boat ramps located in Port St. Joe. The first boat ramp is at the end of Highway 71 and is referred to as the city pier. This location provides great access to St. Joseph Bay. The second boat ramp is located under the Intercoastal Waterway bridge.
Port St. Joe is also home to a large marina with many slips and a restaurant.
